Cookie notice

This website sets no cookies of its own. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel, no session recording, and no visitor identification service of the kind that resolves your IP address to your employer and puts it in a sales queue.

No consent banner, because nothing here needs consent.

Two things do reach beyond the page: a strictly necessary security cookie our hosting provider may set, and a request to Google's font servers for two typefaces.

Australia has no separate cookie consent regime. There is no local equivalent of the European ePrivacy Directive and no statutory requirement to show a banner before setting a cookie. A banner on an Australian site is a design choice, not compliance.

What applies is the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Where a cookie or similar technology collects information about a reasonably identifiable individual, that is personal information and the Australian Privacy Principles apply: APP 3 on collection, APP 5 on notification, APP 6 on use and disclosure.

Infrastructure and business-to-business sites are the heaviest users of a specific practice: a script that resolves a visitor's IP address to an organisation, matches it against a database, and delivers a named company to a sales pipeline. It is often described as "account intelligence" and it is invisible to the visitor.

This site does not do it, and will not. If we ever want to know whether you are interested, we will ask, and the asking will be a link to an email address rather than a script.

The same goes for the softer versions: no LinkedIn Insight tag, no form-fill enrichment, no chat widget that fingerprints, and no scroll-depth scoring.

That is the complete list. We set nothing ourselves and neither cookie is readable by us as an identifier of you.

• No Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, Matomo, or any other analytics.
• No advertising and no advertising cookies.
• No Meta pixel, LinkedIn Insight tag, TikTok pixel, or conversion tracking.
• No session recording, heatmapping or scroll tracking.
• No embedded video, map, social widget, chat widget or comment system.
• No local storage, session storage or IndexedDB written by our code.
• No fingerprinting and no attempt to recognise a returning visitor.

Open the Application and Network panels in your browser's developer tools and you will find exactly what is described here.

Two typefaces load from Google Fonts, at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. That request tells Google's servers your IP address, your user agent and the referring page. Google states the Fonts service sets no cookies and does not use the requests for advertising or profiling.

Self hosting would remove the request and it is on our list. Until then this is the honest description rather than an omission, and blocking those two hosts leaves the site working in a system font.

Every web server records the requests it receives. Our hosting provider logs IP address, timestamp, path, user agent and response code. Nothing is stored on your device, so it is not a cookie, but it is personal information and it belongs in an honest account.

The logs sit with the provider on its own cycle, currently under 30 days, and are used for delivery and abuse defence. They are not resolved to organisations and not used for sales.

The services in the catalogue are machine-to-machine interfaces called by a game client or a game server. They set no cookies, because nothing in the path is a browser.

If we ever ship a browser dashboard for customers, it will need a session cookie, that cookie will be strictly necessary, and this page will describe it before the dashboard is available rather than afterwards.

Every major browser lets you block cookies, delete them, and inspect what a site has set. Blocking the two above may mean Cloudflare challenges you more often, but the site will work.

• Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies and Site data.
• Safari: Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
• Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
• Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.

Both are honoured, which is easy because there is nothing here to switch off. If either signal is present, no additional storage or processing occurs, which is also true if neither is.

Anything that stores information on your device beyond what is listed here gets added to this page, with a new effective date, before it goes live. Where the law that applies to you requires consent, we will ask first.
